Snow Plow Pump Safety & Care
- Over 80% of hydraulic system failures are caused by improper hydraulic oil. Always use the correct oil to ensure reliability. Recommended viscosity: 22–46 mm²/s (ISO3448). Filter the oil with a 10–30 μm filter before use. N46 hydraulic oil is advised for optimal performance.
- Before installing the mini hydraulic power pack, make sure all hydraulic components—including cylinders, pipes, and joints—are clean and free of debris. Check the oil level after the initial run of the hydraulic pump snow plow.
- Change the oil after the first 100 operating hours, then every 3000 hours thereafter. Custom options for power, flow, pressure, and tank capacity are available to match your needs.
- The electric snowplow pump is S3 duty: designed for intermittent operation—30 seconds on, 270 seconds off.
- Maintain a 1:9 ratio of operation to interval time to ensure thermal equilibrium of the motor and extend service life.
